How to Get the Most from the FF1 Fun, Compact Fridge

Happy National Ice Cream Month!

Did you know that in 1984, Ronald Reagan proclaimed the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day? Here’s another fun fact: According to Guinness World Records, in 2015 Trond L Wøien at Norwegian ice cream manufacturer Hennig-Olsen made the tallest ice cream cone ever recorded. It stood over 10 feet tall!

Ice cream is a fun – and yes, necessary – part of summer. Go for dairy, dairy-free, chocolate, vanilla, and tiger stripe. That cool and luxurious mouthfeel is the perfect hot weather antidote. The FF1 refrigerator helps you keep it in easy reach all summerlong.

staying cool

The FF1 refrigerator is iio’s ode to ice cream. It features a static cooling function that keeps everything inside it really cold. You know when you’ve gone grocery shopping on a hot day, and you pull the newly purchased tub of ice cream out of the shopping bag only to find that it’s melting fast? Yuck, warm ice cream. Pull the ice cream tub out of the bag, pop it into the freezer, and within a short span of time, you have perfectly chilled ice cream ready for scooping.

Now that we’ve established that keeping a tub of ice cream in the freezer at all times is important, I should mention that the FF1 is amazingly useful for other reasons, too.

Fun Fridge Line-up

fun fits anywhere

Apart from practical and convenient features, like fast chill, anti-bacterial liner, and fingerprint-resistant exterior door, the FF1 is cute. It’s compact (just 57 inches high) and retro-styled. Bigger and more spacious than a bar fridge, but smaller than a standard, full-size appliance, the FF1 can serve up a lot of ice cream, drinks, snacks … whatever you need. And that right there is the point. The FF1 is the fridge of choice for small spaces and overflow.

Forget about buying a care package for that school-bound student. They will be happier if you present them with a fridge that will fit perfectly in their dorm room. What student doesn’t need a ready supply of snacks to help them study?

I love the idea of using the FF1 as an overflow fridge in my basement. When I’m hosting a party, I like to move most of the stuff in my kitchen fridge to the compact fridge. I find that rearranging the contents like that keeps the party food and drinks handy and close to my guests. It makes it quick and easy for them to go into my fridge and grab their drink of choice, and I can relax and enjoy their company. In between parties, I store cans of soda pop, bottles of water, juice, and wine in the basement fridge. Although keeping the overflow fridge in the basement is my choice, there are a lot of other places where it would fit perfectly, like in the garage or on an enclosed deck or balcony. Do you own an RV or a trailer? Perfect. This compact fridge can fit there, too, and make your camping trip feel super glam!
